Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at Hillscourt! The rooms were very clean, the bed was really comfortable, and there was plenty of room in the bathroom. The breakfast choices were delicious, and I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. However, I did experience some draftiness due to a broken glass in the window pane, and I found the room a little on the small side, especially the shower and bathroom for a moderately large individual.
The hotel is in a convenient location near Birmingham and the surrounding area, close to the M42, perfect for exploring. The rooms, reminiscent of a boarding school, function great and come with delightful coffee, tea, biscuits, and pastries. The service was exceptional with attentive staff making me feel truly welcome, and the value for money was excellent. The dining experience, offering vegan and vegetarian options, was a highlight, though finishing breakfast at 9 a.m. was a bit early. The facilities were well-maintained offering great value for money.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The cozy rooms with a very comfortable bed are a highlight, but some noise disruptions may require room changes. The staff excels in making guests feel welcome and goes the extra mile to assist, yet there might be minor inconveniences. The surrounding area provides a good balance of natural scenery and accessibility, though some minor aspects may not meet everyone's expectations.
